You must provide 2 supervisory references and one other work reference that is familiar with your work and personal suitability at the application stage of this assessment.

You must include an email address and a phone number for each reference. Although only those candidates who are successfully screened into the assessment process may have their references contacted, by providing the references, you are consenting to these individuals being contacted.

Candidates may be assessed using one or more of the following tools : written exam, interview and reference checks.

Interviews for this process will be completed via pre-recorded video interviews. Candidates will be asked to record their responses to interview questions using their own computer or mobile device.

Information on the video interview process will be sent to candidates who are selected for an interview at a later date.

Duties

General duties are as follows, however, some duties may vary throughout the different programs.

1. Conducts compliance promotion activities, inspections, compliance verifications, investigations and enforces the provisions of the applicable acts and regulations using a full range of mechanisms and prepares reports on compliance violations by regulated parties, identifies corrective actions and conducts follow-

up inspections to ensure that regulated parties meet compliance requirements.

2. Provides scientific, regulatory and technical advice and information to management and contributes to issue prioritization and the development of compliance and enforcement strategies using risk management approach.

3. Does consultations and workshops with stakeholders to inform and educate with respect to the elements and activities of the Program.

4. Participation in meetings and committees to contribute to the development of legislation or regulations, guidelines, policies and standards.

5. Provides scientific, regulatory and technical advice and guidance to stakeholders, regulated industry, health care professionals, academia, other government agencies and the Canadian public using a variety of means including responses to individual enquiries, input into public advisories and the development and presentation of seminars.

6. Represents the department, as a Regional spokesperson when responding to media enquiries and at legal proceedings as part of the compliance and enforcement responsibilities.
