The VP, Population Health and Chief Medical Health Officer holds responsibility in leading the strategic direction for Public and Population Health including the Aboriginal Health Portfolio, Regional Opioid Overdose Response and the Ethics & Diversity portfolios as well as, the SFU Academic Development Portfolio.
You will work in conjunction with the Vice Presidents, Clinical Operations and the rest of the Executive Team members.
Within Public Health your leadership will include :
The VP also holds responsibility for liaison with the Provincial Health Emergency Services and is the Executive lead for Health Emergency Management implementation within Fraser Health.
You will be responsible for maintaining professional standards in the appropriate enforcement of applicable Acts and Regulations such as the Public Health Act, including the Communicable Disease Regulations, the School Act, the Community Care Facilities Licensing Act, and provides guidance in the development of Municipal Health By-laws in FHA.
