The Role :

  • Create and execute a business development strategy designed to generate new business
  • Develop new business leads through cold calling, networking at industry events and participation in various industry associations and professional groups
  • Lead and execute all sales functions for the territory, including; cold calling, RFP specification, presentation of proposals and negotiation of agreement terms to close the deal
  • Work closely and in collaboration with multiple departments and internal stakeholders
  • Developing and maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Keep abreast of what competitors are doing
  • Effectively communicate field-based intel to other stakeholders in the company
  • The Ideal Candidate :

  • 3-5 years of relevant business development experience in a B2B environment
  • An engaging and charismatic person with a hunter mentality
  • Entrepreneurial, energetic, dynamic and self-motivated
  • A self-directed and highly motivated person; you need to have that "fire" and drive to be out the door every morning meeting customers
  • Can prospect in their target group of customers and ask the right questions to uncover opportunities
  • Highly coachable with an interest in learning
