Description The incumbent creates, revises and communicates the optimal integrated master production plan for the sections under his / her responsibility (Lines / CR) to meet customer deliverables and business requirements while optimising resources.

  • Leads and coordinates the SORB (Sales & Operations Review Board) activities for the facility including OPB reviews and quarterly reviews, ensuring that the assessment of risks and inventory implications are approved by the value-
  • stream stakeholders and that the acknowledgement of feasibility is received by the locally managed supply chain.

  • Prepares the scenarios for evaluation only, including but not limited to, medium / long-term forecasts, high scenarios and customer rate readiness requests.
  • Obtains facility agreement to a capacity plan supporting the Response, optimising process efficiency, available capacity and meeting customer requirements and recognising the effects of productivity, recruitment, WIP management, bottleneck management, inload / offload, method improvement and New Product Introduction.
  • Leads the translation of technical, contractual and program requirements in work volumes for his / her section (Lines / CR).
  • Working with other functions in the organisation to define and control the volume of work for each line / cell (WIP and bottlenecks management).

  • Leads the use of data analysis techniques to develop production strategies that maximise process efficiency.
  • Support engineering and operations to define the values for the engines / parts (labor) as well as targets for cycle time.
  • Provides operational performance measurement against the plan for the business.
  • Establish processes and management disciplines to ensure that the assumptions of planning and scheduling are updated as needed and reflect the current business requirements and operating capabilities.
  • Drives continuous improvement activities supporting the scheduling Team and the operations Team.
  • Accountable for individual contribution and his / her Team?s contribution for Planning & Control?s Team KPI?s .
  • All other related duties.
