Summary and core responsibilities of the position
The Representative, Advisor Service, offers all the necessary support to advisors enabling them to provide quality service to their own clients.
The Representative, Advisor Service, establishes a relationship of trust with both internal and external clients through personalized service.
He handles the requests, solves problems and proactively identifies needs while offering relevant solutions. More specifically, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities :
Handle all advisor, assistant, and mutual fund company service inquiries using various systems (RPM, Winfund, Univeris).
Analyse and interpret information in order to solve problems while ensuring compliance is respected at all times as well as internal policies and procedures.
Provide follow up to internal and external clients.
Proactively identify advisor needs and improve service levels by continually reviewing processes / procedures and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Handle rejected transactions from fund companies.
Prepare letters of Indemnity (LOI) as well as the ability to write letters to clients in their preferred language when necessary.
Participate in special projects / assignments; perform other duties as required.
Main requirements and qualifications
2-3 years of experience in a similar job in the financial services industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingualism is required - French & English)
Must be at ease dealing with incoming phone calls, emails and faxes, while prioritizing urgent requests.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry
