OVERALL OBJECTIVE : The marketing department oversees and executes the company’s marketing strategies across multiple media channels for campaigns that deliver on our brand promise.

The Assistant Marketing Manager oversees various marketing projects and sponsorships and ensures that they are aligned with the marketing strategy.

The role will report to the senior marketing manager and will be located in Montreal, QC. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage flyer production, print advertisements and work closely with graphic designers Ensure brand standards are applied at all levels and consistency in all internal and external communications Evaluate and execute partnerships, sponsorships and promotion proposals such as hoteliers, radio stations, newspapers with various media partners, external suppliers and travel agencies Approve material (newspapers, special projects, brochure) and proof ads according to the company’s brand standards Assist with translations (occasionally) Work in collaboration with the marketing coordinator to implement and support different marketing initiatives (radio, print and web) Work closely with the marketing department in Toronto as well as other departments throughout the company, the media agency and PR company Manage the payroll Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS 5 years minimum experience in marketing / communications Bachelor’s degree Bilingual (French, English, spoken and written) Excellent grammar skills Excellent organization skills and time management / sense of priorities Autonomous, motivated and ability to resolve problems Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Knowledge of digital and social media Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel and Soft Voyage program Travel industry experience a definite asset ENVIRONMENT AND SCOPE : Fast paced, dynamic, highly productive department Continuous interaction with other departments, partners and service providers Peak periods may involve additional hours Ability to work independently and function well within a team environment Open-
