Reporting to Director ofService & Repair, the Supervisor electronics directs andcontrols activities related to the Booking, Reprocessing,Consignment of the Electronics departments.
He / She monitors and ensure proper processing of customer repairs,consignment RANs as well as trade-in equipment.
He / Shewill also ensure products are repaired and shipped to our customerin-time meeting or exceeding our targeted key performanceindicators (KPIs).
He / She will also develop SOPs and workinstructions for distribution procedures and train staff.
The Electronics Supervisor supports and promotes qualityactivities to meet regulatory and quality requirements whilesupporting business goals and improving customer satisfaction.
The Supervisor electronics will be accountable fordeveloping and executing solutions relating to quality and ensuringthe Quality Management System is implemented and maintainedeffectively in the organization.
Directs and controls activitiesrelated to the Consignment Department to facilitate the efficientprocessing of customer and consignment RANs as well as trade-inequipment.
Facilitates the receiving andshipping of products returned from customers for repairs andensures equipment is forwarded to the Service Department to meetKPI.
Develops and write SOPs and workinstructions for Service department procedures and train staff.
Coordinate Change Notices (CNs),Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventative Action(CAPAs), and Corrective Action Reports (CARs) in a timely manner,to close and / or achieve acceptable levels of compliance.
Investigate and report weekly on discrepantmaterial notices (DMNs).
Directs and controlsthe activities for Processing Consignment RANs to provide the mostefficient process for inspecting, cleaning and validating kitcontents to facilitate the return to consignment inventory.
Processing Customer RMAs to provide the mostefficient process for verifying paperwork accuracy, inspectingproduct condition and performing the necessary steps to ensureinventory is returned to the warehouse.
Reviews and updates issues log, daily Plans and schedules work tomeet anticipated work volumes and shipping deadlines.
Proposes recommendations for improvingexisting operational policies, procedures and processes.
Coordinates and monitors equipment transfersfrom Warehouse to the Service department as well as investigatesand rectifies any discrepancies.
Researchesrecords in ERP to track the location and movement of equipment.
Coaching and developing staff includingaddressing performance issues.
Providesrecommendations on personnel issues and resolution.
Trains new employees.
Conducts employee goal through Success Factor (Quarterly) Overseescycle counts and investigates inventory discrepancies.
Prepares reports on inventory discrepanciesto management to describe the nature of problems noted.
Minimum High School Diploma orCollege Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Technician or equivalentpreferred.
Strong communication and technicalskills.
Excellent interpersonal and teamworkskills.
Must possess a high degree of personalorganization and excellent communication skills, both written andverbal.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to perform required duties withminimum supervision.
Minimum 2 years of electronicsrepair experience preferred.
Minimum 2 yearsof supervisory responsibility preferred.
Knowledge of Health Canada regulations desirable.
Experience with JDE, Datasweep and SAP anasset.
