This role is a temporary position with one of our clients who are global leaders in innovative Mining solutions and quality products throughout the world in the mining Industry.
You will be responsible for assisting with the management of all capital expenditure across the company across the Americas.
You will work with the business to ensure CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) is planned and then utilized in a manner consistent with company standards and practices.

About this role
Working as the Capital Expenditure Financial Analyst, you will report to the IS Finance Manager and co-working with other team members of the Financial Analyst department, Main duties will include :
Coordination of Americas / Nitrogen Capital Expenditure Panel;
You will need to ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations
Daily maintenance of processes to ensure capital project expenditure is aligned with risk / opportunity ratings, and economic hurdles as required;
Maintenance of processes to ensure capital project expenditure is forecast reported and maintained within capital budget limitations;
Organize annual CAPEX budget for Nitrogen, Initiation Systems, and retail business units;
Maintenance of processes to ensure capital projects alternatives are adequately evaluated prior to the sanction;
Management of the Americas Group capital budget process;
Maintenance of processes to validate capital project budget allocation within the Business Unit;
Internal Audit of compliance with Project Management procedures;
Perform post-implementation project reviews as requested by the CFO;
Maintenance and improvement of Qlikview analytics dashboard;
Continually look for opportunities to improve CAPEX processes.
Bachelor Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering required;
Minimum of 5 years in Capital Project Management and Analysis experience;
Experience with Manufacturing Business;
Proficiency with SAP / BW;
Advanced Excel proficiency;
Experience with QlikView / Qlik Sense is Preferred not required.
