GTA Talent Attraction Leader
The GTA Talent Attraction Leader leads, develops and manages the team responsible for the full cycle recruitment across all functions in the GTA for both campus and experienced hire recruitments.
Responsible for developing an understanding of the local critical talent needs and developing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and hire best-
in-class talent in the region.
The GTA Talent Attraction Leader is a member of the GTA Business Enablement Team reporting in to the GTA HR Business Partner.
Clients of the GTA Recruitment Leader include the Geographic Leadership Team (GLT) (the Regional Managing Partner, Audit, Tax and Advisory Business Unit Leaders and the GTA Business Enablement Partner).
GTA Talent Attraction Leader Role Accountabilities
Trusted advisor, coach, and influencer to GLT members on recruitment related matters.
Ability to build excellent relationships with senior business leaders, understands the talent needs across the GTA business units and is the expert in the Talent Attraction.
Understands differences and the importance of both experienced hire and campus recruiting and the ability to provide insightful reporting and trends on each.
Provides overall direction and management for the GTA recruiting strategy, guidelines and procedures concerning best practices, systems, and methodology which are aligned with business needs.
Discerns insights and trends from information and data, and leverages them to identify opportunities for change that will deliver value and impact to the business.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of recruitment issues and trends and builds and maintains a strong network.
Participates on local and National projects and contributes to the overall direction and evolution of Talent Attraction at KPMG.
Actively builds pipeline of candidates across all functions and contributes positively to the brand reputation of the firm through active social media engagement.
Inspire and empower a team to develop and implement innovative and impactful recruitment strategies to support the growth of the GTA officeLead, mentor, and develop a world class’ recruiting team that is customer focused, innovative, flexible, responsive, and achieves goals on time and on budget.
Drives continuous improvement and exceptional team performance by leveraging team metrics and driving opportunities to integrate and collaborate with other HR and BES teams.
Supports the team in delivering against talent attraction needs within the GTA, including managing workloads across team members, supporting resolution of delivery issues that may arise, and when required due to either capacity or strategic hires take on a full cycle hires.
GTA Talent Attraction Team Engagement
Engages the GTA Talent Attraction team to build strategy, enhance hiring manager and candidate experience strategy and deliver results.
As a performance manager to the GTA Talent Attraction team, evaluates performance, recognizes and rewards collaboration, demonstrates cultural awareness and seeks to create an inclusive environment.
Identifies and develops training content and / or externally facilitated opportunities to build the bench strength and capabilities of the GTA Talent Attraction team.
Education, Training, Experience & Key Competencies
Demonstrated capability in effective and creative recruiting and sourcing strategies
Ability to creatively use different communication mediums to meaningfully connect with talent.
Demonstrate strong people leadership, consensus-building skills and capability in building and leading a high-performing team.
Build strong relationships and deliver results in a rapidly and constantly evolving environment.
Persuade and influence decision makers through ability to lead and drive behaviour change.
Ability to summarize and interpret data from internal and external market sources.
10+ years of combined campus and experienced hire recruiting in a fast-paced, corporate environment.
Lead a team of 8+ direct reports.
A strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities for multiple stakeholders.
Ability to develop strong relationships with internal clients, gain credibility, and be viewed as a trusted advisor.
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
