Quality Inspector Fabrication
Based in Surrey, BC , you will be responsible for maintain quality standards and ensure quality requirement for all products manufactured or repaired meet customer / regulatory requirements.
As a Quality Inspector Fabrication, you will be expected to :
Inspect products manufactured or processed to ensure compliance with specifications including, but not limited to, ASME B31.
3, ASME B31.4, ASME BPVC Section VII Div. 1, CSA B51.
Complete incoming inspections of materials, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Complete in-process inspections and communicate results to production supervisors.
Complete final inspections and communicate results to production supervisors.
Document inspection results by completing reports travelers and logs as required.
Work with customer and / or third party inspectors.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by ensuring SOP’s and PWI’s are followed and comply with regulations and standards.
Prepare final quality document packages for submission to customers.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
May require shift work.
To join our team as a Quality Inspector Fabrication, you must meet the following requirements :
5 years or more experience inspecting fabricated steel products (welding, cutting, fitting)
CWB 178.2 Level II Weld Inspector’s ticket (mandatory) with a B31.3 endorsement an asset.
CGSB Magnetic Particle Level II certification an asset.
God knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
