We are seeking a bright, customer-service oriented, communications pro for a three-year term as a member of the Meditech-Expanse project team.

This role will have a dual reporting relationship to the Chief Project Officer and the Director of Corporate Communications.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to support the development of an Organizational Change Management plan as well help execute a communication strategy associated with a complex clinical information system implementation.

The day-to-day work will be guided by the Meditech-Expanse project team while ensuring alignment with Fraser Health's established standards.

Build on your education and career experience as you :

  • Provide consultation to internal partners in the planning, development and implementation of communication and change strategies that support the Meditech-Expanse project
  • Work closely with the project team to support both strategic and detailed tactical needs.
  • Develop and lead implementation and evaluation of all aspects of communication to improve internal engagement with the project.
  • Write / produce internal / external communications and ensure overall quality, consistency and effectiveness of complex communication materials.
  • To join the project team, we will look for you to have :

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of recent, related experience in a communications role in a public sector, health care or a large complex organization.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

    This full time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC , with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and other amenities.
