Chandler is growing and we invite you to grow with us! We are searching for dynamic account managers, who will be based in our Halifax, NS Branch Office.

The primary responsibilities for these customer-facing business sales positions are to prospect, present, and sell products / services to new business customers.

Chandler offers our customers a wide range of solutions from our various divisions including : Sanitation & Food Service, Apparel & Promotional, Industrial, and Safety.

These sales positions require a high-activity sales model and a "hunter" mentality. We are seeking sales professionals who have successfully prospected, developed, and maintained accounts in a business selling environment, and who have a desire to grow with us.

A successful individual will be managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing new accounts.

Background & Experience :

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Business to Business Sales
  • Competitive spirit and hunter mentality
  • Proven selling experience with the ability to close the sale
  • The ability to communicate effectively across broad levels of client representatives from technical employees to senior executives
  • Confidence and desire to make a target number of cold calls
  • Responsibilities :

  • Promote and sell products and services
  • Uncover business opportunities leading to the creation of new customers
  • Connect with key decision-makers
  • Develop long-term, valued business relationships with customers and partners
  • Solve client issues with a solution-based sales approach
  • Maintain knowledge regarding products and communicate this knowledge to clients
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts and maintaining a healthy funnel of leads
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, agreements and supporting documentation as required
