Benefit Cosmetics Canada is looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team! This role will create innovative, on-brand, on-trend content and programs that drive awareness, loyalty, acquisition and engagement to achieve digital and social media objectives.

S(he) will help define / execute digital strategies allowing us to maximize relationships with Influencers generating content and coverage and increase overall brand awareness with best-in-class digital marketing in Canada.

  • Working closely with the PR & Digital Marketing Manager, s(he) will help lead social content creation and analytics; Influencer relations and analytics;
  • secure brand partnerships; and support digital advertising.

    RESPONSIBILITIES : (will include but are not limited to)

  • Lead and execute all social media for Benefit Canada including : Create, curate and manage on-brand, on-trend content to appeal to the Benefit consumer (images, video, Live, written, etc.
  • Design or rework digital assets for use in Canadian marketModerate and initiate engaged social conversationsMonitor social networks for potential PR opportunities and customer care issuesAnalyze the performance of posts and campaigns to continually optimize contentTrack metrics and create reports for campaigns / promotions / social media / etc.

    Identify opportunities to serve Benefit fans and customers with NEW beauty and non-beauty content

  • Ongoing leadership of Influencer CRM program including : Monitoring influencer content, trends and performance Identifying partnership opportunities (paid and earned)Support with contractual agreements and liaising with talent and / or management Execute unique and memorable product sends and eventsHelp build and manage meaningful relationshipsDesign trips and experiences that exemplify the brand’s DNAAssist with onboarding new influencers into the brand
  • Lead Influencer marketing analytics using Global quarterly reports and social media tools providing commentary on performance and recommended action plans in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date on media platform trends, capabilities and educate team on emerging opportunities
  • Work closely with Global Digital counterparts and similar markets to share best practices and learnings
  • Monthly scorecard tracking
  • Identify strategic brand partners & plan co-promotional activities to help improve Benefit’s reach.
  • Ensure Benefit voice is communicated throughout all digital activities, with a focus on laughter and fun
  • Utilize digital strategies to amplify offline activations, events & contests
  • Create FB ads pages for in-store events and promote to fans with targeted posts
  • Think outside the box and proactively introduce new ideas or suggestions to improve processes
  • Update the Digital Marketing Calendar

  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • University degree or related education in marketing or communications
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in cosmetics and / or consumer packaged goods industry is an asset
  • Highly engaged on multiple social media platforms
  • Genuine interest / early adopter of digital technology & innovation
  • Knowledge of social media for business and influencer marketing tactics
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial and customer focused attitude
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Project management skills and meticulous with detail
  • Ability to work well across the organization and with 3rd parties
