The Business Analyst works closely with the business stakeholders to implement rate program changes directly in HP Exstream -

Aviva Canada's document application. The candidate will bring both business and system knowledge together in the analysis and implementation documents generation for the Aviva group of companies across Canada.

Job Responsibilities : What Would I do on the job?

  • Work with business and rating business analysts to understand business requirements for changes to be implemented in document publishing solution.
  • Work with the Business Development team to create custom Broker letter
  • Investigate simple to moderate system issues and propose solutions.
  • Prepare professional specifications documents for system changes.
  • Create Mock-ups of documents for review
  • Implement table changes according to project or rate change program timelines.
  • Test all system changes prior to deployment for user acceptance testing to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Consult on projects and work with Operations & Technology and Enterprise Project Management Office as required.
  • Qualifications : Do I have what it takes?

  • Minimum 3 years P & C insurance / underwriting experience
  • 3 years Business analyst role for other publishing solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PDF, AFP, SQL,
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Able to multi task and work independently
  • Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Command Center
  • SQL Query Language
