Your role :

Reporting to the ISS Section Chief, the Change Specialist will be responsible to coordinate and manage all Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) & Engineering Change Requests (ECR) that are required on the MHP program.

This include changes to the aircraft but also changes applicable to the Integrated Information Environment (IIE).

Your responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and prioritize ECP / ECR within the MHP ISS operations;
  • Create and maintain schedules for all modifications;
  • Create and review impact assessments and engineering change proposals;
  • Create and review any other deliverable required for all modifications;
  • Support improvements on the change process for ECP / ECR;
  • Create and provide Configuration Status Accounting (CSA);
  • Manage interaction with customers & suppliers

    Your Profile :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, aerospace or equivalent;
  • A Bachelor of Science degree, preferably Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Process Engineering or equivalent
  • Communication skills to collaborate with contractors, DND maintenance organizations, other government departments and team work;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project);
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of theories and practices of aircraft engineering and maintenance;
  • Technical writing skills to communicate information effectively to customers, managers, and technical staff;
  • Organizational skills to work with the vast array of information gathered during the analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information;
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English (must) and French (asset).
  • Operational requirement :

  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR);
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP);
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for Canadian government security clearance.
