Our growing People Operations team is looking for a dynamic Recruiter to join our amazing team! Due to the tremendous growth MAG is experiencing, we are looking to add a Recruiter who is passionate about sourcing, selecting, and hiring the best talent out there.
We are a small yet mighty team who work very closely and collaboratively together to support our Corporate office along with several business units across Canada, United States and Ireland.

This new role will be based in Vancouver and will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition. You will support and execute the end-to-end recruiting process and your portfolios will be for select business groups and / or departments within the Mark Anthony Group, including Corporate, our Wineries, and Canadian Commercial teams.
You will identify, assess and hire talent needed for the business as well as establish networks and solid talent pipelines for future roles.
Additionally, your expertise will include supporting and building hiring manager capability and best practices within the function.
What You Will Do :
Role and requisition set up : planning and analysis on supply / demand of workforce, present ideal candidate profiles and consultation on hiring team preparation and selection
Review applications and engage in direct sourcing to identify talent with the needed requirements. Conduct screens to determine minimum qualifications and provide hiring leader with a shortlist of candidates
Champion the candidates, provide exceptional customer experience and ensure brand standards are adhered to at all times
Facilitate interview coordination and ensure hiring teams are briefed and set up to assess candidates. Oversee the collection of interview feedback and support teams in hiring decisions
Work with hiring leaders and People Operations Partners to generate offers of employment. Extend details verbally, manage any negotiations required and execute all documentation
Execute the background check process
Effectively manage the transition from hire to employee ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and the Integration Coordinator is set up to support up to and after the first day
Make recommendations to leaders using historic trends and data on how to proactively engage the talent needed within the external marketplace, using a 3-6 month outlook for the BU, department, or talent profile being supported
Share as needed / requested QBRs that outline success and challenges within the portfolio / BU / department or specific talent segments
Build talent pools, networks, and pipelines as needed for critical positions or future roles
Projects and continuous improvement opportunities that help to build out recruiting infrastructure and best practices
Facilitate training sessions as needed to build hiring team capability related to interviewing and selection
What You Have :
5+ years of experience leading full-cycle searches ranging from entry-level roles to Director level, as well as niche / critical jobs to the business
Has successfully incorporated data and analytics as part of their consultation to hiring teams and recommendations for recruiting activities and realities of the external marketplace
Can articulate how to successfully convert prospects to candidates, and has an established business process for how to proactively engage with talent in their networks / pipeline
Meeting facilitation or presentation experience with Director+ audience
Has participated in continuous improvement initiatives / projects within recruiting
Is proficient with Microsoft Office and application tracking solutions; either in-house made and / or a cloud-based ATS or CRM
