Determine the needs of the shipyard’s buildings and establish the scope of work. Produce assessments and schedules. Design and carry out various structural works.
Prepare cost estimates and technical specification. Supervise the construction or renovation and provide technical support.
Subcontractor management approve estimates, answer queries, approve required documents, and manage the contract to ensure that work is being completed on budget and on schedule, and facilitate discussions and meetings.
Plan and prepare material requirements
Communicate with the production line team during the processing stage in order to identify adjustments or modifications to be made on cutting and assembly plans as required. Utilize drawing software
Develop and ensure the maintenance of planning, organization, and completion procedures for all infrastructure engineering operations within Davie.
Ensure that all relevant engineering procedures and work instructions are available, understood, implemented and updated according to standard operating procedures.
Required Skills and Knowledge for this role include but are not limited to the following A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience. Be organized, meet deadlines and be able to work under pressure. Strong ability to work within a team and work closely with clients, vendors and regulatory bodies
