As a leader in the field of Developmental Services,Woodstock and District Developmental Services (WDDS) hasexperienced continuous growth and is currently recruiting SummerStudents to work as Direct Support Professionals assisting peoplewith developmental disabilities find a satisfying and purposefulplace in their community by enhancing their quality of life andpromoting personal growth.
WDDS providesexciting employment, advancement and leadership developmentopportunities. As a Summer Student, you will begin your orientationonce you have completed your semester and will have the opportunityto work in Group Living, Supported Independent Living or DayServices.
If you don’t have much experience, don’t worry, we offerextensive training.
The good news is that youremployment won’t end there. If you attend a local school, you wouldbe able to work weekends and holidays.
If this is not possible foryou, we only ask that you work the Christmas / New Year’s break andcommit to returning to WDDS in April or at the end of yoursemester.
