Consulting projects include Appointed Actuary work, valuation systems conversion, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, product development, business / financial analysis work, ORSA review and implementation, data analytics, predictive modelling and audit support.
We work on a variety of cross-functional projects with other services within PwC including Advisory, Deals, Assurance, and Tax.
The Opportunity : Senior Manager, Actuarial, Life We are currently seeking a Life Actuarial Senior Manager, to join our Actuarial Services practice located in Montreal, or Quebec City.
Responsibilities : The successful candidate will be responsible to manage a broad range of consulting services and audit support assignments, and coach junior staff in their technical and professional career development.
The candidate will work closely with senior actuaries and Partners on Appointed Actuary and actuarial liability valuation work, product development, merger & acquisition, advisory services on new IFRS and a variety of other consulting work.
For audit reviews, the candidate will work closely with our Managers who are coordinating the day-to-day work. As Senior Manager, you are also part of Actuarial Services Management team.
You work with other members of the team to drive business development activities such as development of new services, improvements in current services, leading proposals, industry presentations, development of marketing material, as well fostering good communication with PwC clients to support relationship building.
