What's the role?

The Account Manager will provide recommendations on customized insurance products to serve our Personal Lines customers' complex insurance needs.

You will be responsible for servicing our existing portfolio of customers as well as pursuing new businesses.

This role can be located at either one of our offices, including Ottawa, Cambridge or Hamilton.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt client service to our clients' Personal Insurance needs
  • Provide timely and effective resolutions to client's issues or concerns while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Explain and make recommendations to client on insurance coverages and products to ensure they are adequately protected
  • Liaison with underwriters
  • Look for cross selling and referral opportunities
  • What does it take?

  • RIBO License or ability to obtain
  • Bilingual in both English and French
  • Ability to speak Arabic is an asset
  • Previous Personal Insurance experience
  • Highly developed customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
  • Attention to detail
  • CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards designation) would be an asset
