Provides support to the Human Resources Department and assists in the development of policies / procedures and objectives that support the achievement of the organization's business goals.
Some of the duties of this position include the following : Maintain a positive employee relations environment, as Governed by Magna's Employee Charter, by providing guidance to employees and assisting with the resolution of employee concerns by utilizing available resources;
Provide direction and support to employees within the HR Department;Develop KPI's for the HR Department;Develop and monitor performance measurables for employees within the HR Department;
Assist with pay equity plans on an annual basis;Assist with annual compensation plan;Identify training requirements for employees;
Oversee the job opportunity process for internal and external recruitment opportunities;Provide performance management direction and support to Managers / Supervisors;
Develop HR policies / procedures;Participate in employee meetings to communicate information to employees.
Knowledge and Education
Human Resources Certificate or Business Administration required;CHRP / CHRL would be an asset.
previous HR related experience in some or all of the following areas : benefits administration, conflict resolution, policy development, employment laws, workers compensation, compensation, progressive discipline.
