La Legal Services Commission

The Legal Services Commission is the agency responsible for the administration of the Legal Aid and Certain Other Legal Services Act in Quebec.

The Legal Services Commission ensures that legal aid is provided to financially eligible persons across all administrative regions of Quebec.

It offers a stimulating work environment and favorable working conditions.

The legal aid network is the largest law firm in Quebec. It is made up of 11 community centers; a local center and 106 legal aid offices, 87 of which are permanent, located in all regions of Quebec.

Over 400 staff lawyers and 540 other professionals and support staff work there, for a total of nearly 940 full-time employees.

In addition, 16 trainees from the Law Society program are employed in the various regional centers.

The lawyers in the legal aid network represent anyone financially eligible for legal aid. for the various services covered in civil, family, administrative, criminal matters, mental health law, immigration law and youth law.


More specifically, his responsibilities include :

  • Master the organization's digital transformation project and act as technical liaison with the members of the steering committee in order to develop the basics of specifications.
  • Mobilize and encourage engagement and collaboration within teams in regional centers.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties concerned .
  • Identify and resolve problems, risks or concerns as soon as 'they arise.
  • Participate in change management in collaboration with the steering committee.
  • Ensure that the definition of needs meets both technical and functional needs and is aligned with the information technology strategy of the organization as a whole.
  • Understand the realities of prescribed budgets and be creative in the solutions to apply.
  • Lead the creation, management and implementation of all digital initiatives.
  • Define and implement personalized communication strategies for each step.
  • Be on the lookout technological developments and organize technical monitoring.

    Knowing to inspire confidence in the entire steering committee and general managers of the network, he is equipped with '' a great capacity for managing stress and demonstrates a strong professional ethics.

    He quickly understands the historical and cultural context of the network as well as its specific needs.

    The incumbent may be required to travel occasionally to Quebec in order to be present at the various offices of the network.


  • A university degree of 1st cycle in computer science, administration or a certificate of relevant studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.
  • 9 years of experience in the exercise of activities at professional or professional level management, including 2 years of experience in supervisory activities.
  • Training and experience in IT management or a field deemed relevant would be an asset.
  • Fluency in French and functional knowledge of English, oral and written.
  • The working conditions are established under the Regulation of the Commission des services juridique establishing the standards of remuneration and the other conditions of work of non-legal executives and professionals employed by regional centers and the Commission des services juridique .

    Annual salary : $ 98,105 to 125,574 $
