In your role, you will :

  • Be the subject matter expert regarding our development flight simulator, leading all activities related to installation, maintenance and update
  • Schedule and coordinate hardware and software integration phase of our development flight simulator
  • Manage the resolution of all acceptance snags. Participate in the installation of our development flight simulator at Mirabel
  • Ensure a clear understanding of integration issues and implement corrective measures if required
  • Ensure that the development flight simulator matches the aircraft behavior and maintains its certification credit
  • Provide technical expertise and support resolutions of snags related to the simulator raised during pilot in the loop testing
  • Act as the focal point for all technical matters with hands on solutions to hardware and software problems
  • Resolves technical problems and establish improvement plans to the development flight simulator
  • As our ideal candidate,

  • You have a Bachelor or a Master Degree in Aeronautical Engineering
  • You have a Minimum of 10 years work experience with 7 years in simulator development
  • You have a detailed knowledge of flight simulator hardware and software technology, real time computation and visual
  • You have a good interpersonal skills in order to work in team and interface with other groups, suppliers and management as well as good written and oral communication skills
  • You have good programming skills (MATLAB, Simulink)
  • You can work independently and demonstrate initiative to achieve the goals established for you and work well in small, dynamic environment.
