The Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Channel team is a fast-paced and growing residential sales team that is at the forefront of innovation for TELUS’ go-to-market (GTM) team.
The D2C team is seeking an innovative Senior Market Manager who will be responsible for the growth and enablement of Home Security & Automation sales within the D2C channel.
This person will have passion for owning the home, and will be responsible for arming our sales teams with the tools, processes and training to deliver a best-
in-class home security & automation sales experience for our customers and deliver on sales and marketing targets for TELUS.
Working within a team focused on creating a culture of business ownership, you will be empowered to make decisions, drive strategy and innovate the D2C channel.
You will also be at the forefront of TELUS’ expansion into Home Security & Automation services.

Working closely with our Field, Operational Support, and Channel Enablement teams, you’ll directly influence D2C home security sales by guiding and coaching team of engaged and talented team members
In partnership with our development partners, you will constantly be searching for system and process improvement opportunities and develop a long-
term roadmap to drive real change within our channel
As part of the Home Security team, you’ll be integral to rapidly growing and operationalizing the D2C channel by providing timely, consistent, and reliable channel reporting and actionable insights to support decision making and prioritization across the team
Leveraging collaborative conversations with key stakeholders across Customer Experience, Marketing, Product & Services, Communications, your key insights will enable a prioritized list of continuous improvement initiatives for the D2C channel and the Home Security & Automation team
Actively manage our vendor performance against forecast and targets, as well as work with our operational and marketing teams to introduce channel incentives to spur growth
Continuously consulting and collaborating with marketing and sales teams to develop improvements to the sales process and closing tools for Home Security & Automation
Leading the implementation of self-serve reporting tools such as Tableau and Domo, to deliver enhanced reporting capabilities for Home Security & Automation sales to end-users
Project manage a roadmap of enablement and improvement initiatives, providing requirements for development teams and working with our GTM primes to rollout changes to field teams and vendors
Be at the forefront of analyzing results, so that you can develop executive recommendations which you will present to leadership and stakeholders
Regularly meeting with stakeholders to debrief on successes and opportunities and take action on key gaps and areas of opportunity identified
Effectively build and manage channel support needs against priorities to ensure optimal impact given limited resources and changing competitive landscape

Very strong communication skills including presentation, written, and verbal communication to executive and senior management stakeholders
Experience establishing and maintaining cross-functional relationships across development teams, marketing, customer experience, and technical support
Ability to distill complex information into succinct insights and actionable implications to leadership
Proven analytical and business skills, planning, and prioritization competencies
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Self-motivated and proactive with problem solving skills and able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to take ownership and proactively address challenges and issues
University and / or technical school degree and experience
Minimum 5-6 years of data analytics and reporting
Minimum 5 years of telecommunications and / or home security experience
