Detailed Role Description
The successful candidate will support with managing IT Canada and USA budget and forecast (clerical and analytical) related to G&A cost centers.
The successful candidate will also have hands-on and practical experience with SAP!
What you will do :
Budgeting consolidation, actuals monitoring, journal entries for accruals, prepaid and reclassifications, intercompany allocations;
including data integrity and quality checks.
Reconcile IT G&A actuals with internal Budget / Forecasting templates
Process in SAP and reconcile monthly IT G&A accruals
Process in SAP and reconcile monthly IT pre-paid allocations
Process in SAP and reconcile monthly IT intercompany allocations
Participate in the coordination of periodic G&A actuals / forecast reviews with cost owners
Assist cost owners with ad-hoc data query requests
Assist cost owners during budget and forecast cycles
Aggregate data from different sources
Develop and execute data integrity and quality checks
Gather data as necessary for ad-hoc reporting
Reconcile internal IT data with Corporate Accounting for consistency
Process requests for Financial Authority changes in SAP
Process requests for SAP Master Data changes or additions

Willing to learn new software for Forecast and IT cost allocation
Willing to learn IT benchmark methodologies
7+ years working in finance and / or accounting
Certification in Finance or accounting, or related field
Hands-on and practical experience with SAP (CO or controlling module, Accounts Payable, Projects modules)
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Office Suite, OneDrive, Skype for Business, SharePoint Online, and Teams
Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management
Customer focused, ability to work independently and within a team
Committed to the success of the team deliverables. Willing and able to "roll up sleeves"
Self-starter; able to able to perform with broad guidelines on delivery
Good communicator, with effective verbal and written communication skills
Able to balance priorities and work under pressure and tight timelines
