Based in our London office, in this role you will closely with the Director, Banking, Insurance & Government to drive revenue growth in this newly defined Vertical.

You will use your knowledge of the Financial Services sector to identify opportunities, leverage relationships, and introduce and close on our unique product set.

Once established, you will own those relationships and manage them with a high degree of customer focus.

Job Details

CARFAX Canada is excited to announce that we are looking for a new addition to our growing team in the role of Account Manager, Banking, Insurance & Government.

This role will be instrumental in assisting the Banking, Insurance & Government Group in driving new revenue streams and deep relationships with our Financial Services and Government partners.

The Account Manager, Banking, Insurance & Government will report into the Director, Banking, Insurance & Government, while working closely with the Product and Marketing teams at CARFAX Canada.

  • You are a results-driven, organized and customer-centric sales professional
  • You will be accountable to meet / exceed top line revenue goals
  • You will be responsible to build a strategic sales plan and execute. As a client service professional, you will continue to nurture relationships post sale
  • You understand data and data products, enabling you to articulate customer needs internally, and describe our capabilities to existing and prospective customers alike
  • You thrive on leading solution development for our customers’ business needs and turning it into revenue
  • You are challenged by difficult business equations
  • You are collaborative by nature
  • Position Responsibilities

  • Identification of business opportunities in the BIG Vertical
  • Strategic sales planning and execution of that plan
  • Top line revenue generation that meets / exceeds quotas
  • Ownership of key customer relationships
  • Act as the voice of customer internally
  • Must collaborate effectively with Product Management, Marketing, Sales and other teams
  • Must respect the complexities of our data sources and infrastructure
  • Education and experience required :

  • Post-Secondary degree
  • 5-10 years of prior Auto Lending, and / or Auto Insurance experience
  • Experience with Loan Originations and Risk, and / or Insurance Underwriting and Claims Management / Fraud would be an asset
  • Requirements

  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, and meet sales targets
  • Adept at interpreting customer needs and translating them into viable solutions
  • Solid auto lending and / or insurance knowledge is vital
  • Familiarity with data commercialization
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Bilingualism (French) is an asset
