Must have a community college recreation certificate or diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with seniors in a long term care setting.
Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal. Computer skills an asset, must have a valid drivers licence.
An energetic, compassionate person who enjoys working with the elderly.

Assists with the maintenance and good human relations with residents, families, volunteers, and staff of other departments

Follows Occupational Health & Safety standards
Attends in service education
Participates in team conferences to plan, develop and assess individual resident care plans
Performs other duties as assigned
