Canadian Tire’s Forecasting Analyst provide you with the chance to develop broadmerchandising experience.It is an opportunitythat is integral to the organizations success due to the critical impact of itsoutcomes on customer satisfaction and the business’s bottom line.
You’ll work ina category business team and closely with other groups within Canadian Tire toensure the forecasted demand results in optimal in inventory levelsat our Distribution Centres and at ourstores.
This program is designed with great challenges and major accountabilities, as the dailydecisions you will make in this role amount to millions of dollars ininventory, and will directly impact the profitability of our organization.
You will have the opportunity to :
introduce exciting new products while maintaining anddeveloping our existing product assortments
create and manage POS (point of sale) and Dealer DemandForecasts in support of regular, promotional and seasonal planning strategiesfor their business.
This includes activemanagement of forecasts at aggregate and lower levels in accordance with annualand seasonal merchandising planning targets
manage the forecasting of specific product lines within theCanadian Tire assortment, ensuring that market, competitive and assortmentinsights are incorporated
conduct analysis of historicalperformance (consumer demand, Dealer demand, store and corporate stock levels)to build strength in your forecast
collaborate with key stakeholders, such as buying teams,suppliers, marketing, associate stores and distribution
Who You Are

You have an undergraduate and / or post graduate degree in Business, Commerce, Retail Management or Analytics withexperience in retail or in an analytical role, is an asset.
2+ years of experience working in a DemandPlanner capacity
