They have excellent analytical and technical skills, in addition to a keen ability to determine specifications and standards for business reporting and maintaining data integrity.
The BI & Reporting Analyst delves into our data, past and present, to develop crucial metrics and reporting functionality that better informs and optimizes key businesses decisions across the organization.
They build reports, dashboards and scorecards that deliver and process vital data to business partners across the enterprise.
This position will execute on all internal and client-facing reporting requirements, that are required to satisfy contractual SLAs, billing requirements and KPIs.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain strong relationships and work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop valuable reporting and provide ad-hoc data extractsCollaborate in small groups to gather business information needs from various teams.
Identify business objectives and process workflows, gather requirements from stakeholders, translate requirements into technical specification, create user stories.
Extract and merge data sets from multiple data sources. Perform data cleansing, transformation, exploration and analysisProduce specialized reporting packages, dashboards and scorecards for businessesSupport day-to-day requests for data analysis and reportsUse advanced techniques, conduct in-depth analytics for strategic initiatives as directed by the management.
Work side-by-side with the business stakeholders, iterate the analytical work in an agile fashion to deliver insights.Work in a self-motivated proactive manner, maintaining a clear sense of work priorities and commitment to deadlines.
Work in a team-based environment. Exchanging information, ideas and providing guidance, both within and across other teams / departments (Order desk, Service, Warehouse, Config Center, Finance, etc.

QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics or related field3+ years experience in reporting, business intelligence, data analytics or similar roleIndustry experience within Supply Chain and Logistics is an assetIndustry experience within Technology products OEM, VARs, etc.
