We are seeking a full-time Clinic Director for our Kamloops clinic which has been in operation for over 10 years, delivering multi-disciplinary physiotherapy assessment and treatment services to the Kamloops community.

Our staff consist of Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists and Occupational Therapists who are experts in treating sports, orthopaedic, motor vehicle and work-related injuries.

The Clinic Director must have a clinical designation as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Kinesiologist, ideally with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of returning clients to work & maximizing their function regardless of the underlying cause (i.

e. work-related accident, automobile accident or non-occupational injury). In addition, the successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for developing a team through effective communication, clinical mentorship and ensuring their team has regular access to educational opportunities

Function of the Clinic Director :

The Clinic Director (CD) will focus on fostering positive relationships with referral sources including Physicians, WSBC, ICBC and directly with clients.

The CD will assist with staff development, financial performance and continuous performance improvement. The CD will emphasize goal setting, treatment planning, caseload management and the use of outcomes reports in 1 : 1 meetings with clinical staff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Build and maintain a clinical caseload
  • Oversee the planning, direction and implementation of all operations, programs and policies of Lifemark’s Kamloops clinic
  • Manage all internal operations related to clinical staff and patient services
  • Develop corrective action plans when performance issues are identified
  • Participate in team building events
  • Professional Development :

  • Demonstrate clinical leadership and expertise through mentorship and the management of professional development for clinical staff
  • Provide mentorship of clinical staff as required
  • Performs 1 : 1 monthly meetings with all clinical staff
  • Assists with the recruitment and retention of clinical staff
  • Requirements :

  • The candidate must have a clinical designation as a physiotherapist, occupational therapist or kinesiologist and registered in BC
  • 3+ years experience
  • An interest in leadership; Leadership / supervisory experience considered an asset
  • Experience working within / managing an occupational rehab programs an asset
