What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for driving product testing for iOS, Android and Web. You will be responsible for detecting defects in the builds, writing detailed defect reports, writing automated test scripts and validating the data as presented in the applications.

The role focuses on UI testing, crash reporting, and the correctness of business functions and data from the perspective of the user.

With each incremental release, it’s important to build the automated testing scripts for automated re-testing. This role is critical in ensuring the success of the Next Generation Digital Asset Management team to release stable, functional, and reliable apps.

What will you do?

  • Find and report defects throughout the application
  • Write automated testing scripts to promote test automation
  • Confirm the correctness of financial data displayed in the mobile interfaces
  • Provide feedback on user experience challenges that users may face
  • Update and help prioritize defects for repair
  • Must-have

  • 3+ years of QA testing experience
  • Ability to code for automated testing tools and to write detailed user stories for the discovered defects
  • Understanding of financial functions to validate the displayed data
  • Ability to work with the business and project team to determine, review and verify test scope
  • Coding language experience (Java, Python, tool dependent)
  • Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of trading principles
  • Ability to use tools like Jira, Confluence and Slack
