Our System Integration team is currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced account manager to focus on growing our customer base, manage and maintain strong customer relationship and provide automation proposals to customers.
Responsibilities include :
Solicit Systems Integration sales opportunities in order to further penetrate the local market.
Build and maintain customer relations.
Development proposals based on customer needs and expectations
Prepare and lead technical reviews and presentations with customers.
Complete sales reports, bid registers, record of marketplace and other related reporting.
Work with other the sales and marketing of other departments to compliment the services portfolio of the Process Group
Participate in budget review meetings and provide feedback as required.
Manage project execution focusing on deliverables, scope, schedule and budget.
Be fully conversant with the company's Safety Policy & Program
Uphold safe working practices as described in the company's Safety Policy and Program
The Account Manager has complete P&L responsibilities within their department.
The ideal candidate will :
Listen to the customer voice and be able to develop and propose the appropriate solutions
A post secondary degree preferably in engineering / technology with 5-8 years of experience.
Ability to generate leads for potential work including cold calling
Requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and experience in the automation industry, specifically with regard to electrical drawing review, standard coding practices for PLC and HMI's / SCADA systems typically found in industrial control systems.
Enjoy working in both an office environment as well as on the shop floor
Communicate effectively with co-workers, suppliers and customers
Be well organized and able to manage time efficiently
Be flexible, adaptable and enjoy challenging situations
This position can, at times, require frequent travel to customers' sites. A valid class G license and reliable transportation are requirements for this position.
