Our client is a large and well-established player in the medical laboratory space.
The role is also responsible for the development and institutionalization of rapid and effective sales and marketing onboarding, sales and marketing competency modeling and associated technical skills development programs.
A key accountability of the role will be to define a strategy to raise the competency of the sales and marketing function, and to support predictable and sustainable growth of the General and Advanced Diagnostics portfolios Success in this role will be measured through accelerated financial performance and the measure of KPIs as leading and lagging indicators.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the development of onboarding tools and materials to accelerate sales and marketing effectiveness of new hires. Establish sales and marketing competency models along with competency assessment and associated development program.
Ensure there is a robust territory plan development process across all sales and marketing team, define the planning process, templates and KPI’s to measure success in collaboration with sales and marketing leaders.
Accountable for developing the strategy and managing the execution of the sales and marketing operational excellence initiative to accelerate revenue and margin growth of the General and Advanced Diagnostics Business.
Lead the identification and evaluation of best in class sales automation platforms that can be leveraged to provide sales and marketing with competitive advantages and are aligned with our current and future growth objective.
Provide leadership, development and coaching of direct reports and sales and marketing leaders.
Experience and Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a Commercial Operations function.
Strong sales operations experience in the Clinical Lab diagnostics industry.
Demonstrated success leading cross functional strategic initiatives and leading sales and marketing execution.
Strong leadership and teaching skills.
Proven and self-motivated performer who can manage multiple and evolving business priorities.
Strong systems thinker with the ability to turn insights into actions.
Excellent written / verbal communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong track record of collaboration and effective negotiation.
Financial accountability and experience developing and executing business cases.
