Responsibilities of this Position Include :
To provide and display excellent guest service skills, to Marriott standards.
To provide hands-on participation in the day-to-day operation of the Front Office.
To respond to guest requests, inquiries, questions, in a timely and professional manner.
To provide backup for the Front Desk and Bell Desk.
To answer telephones and respond to caller requests, inquiries.
To actively seek feedback and follow-up on all guest concerns.
To respond to guest concerns and solicit guest feedback using the LEARN process.
To be the key contact for business relationships such as parking companies, transportation operators, neighbouring businesses, et al.
To participate in the daily pre-shift meetings.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications :
Minimum of 1-2 years current related experience in the downtown Toronto area.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
In-depth knowledge of the Toronto Entertainment district.
Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel and the Internet required; PMS an asset.
Complete and thorough knowledge of Toronto and the surrounding area required; SW Ontario preferred.
Hospitality Management diploma or degree an asset.
Results-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
Additional language(s) an asset.
High school graduation diploma required.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, days.
