Responsibilities

  • Actively participate as a generalist in all Human Resources activities
  • Inform employees about the company’s various policies and procedure and answer their questions
  • Create and maintain personnel file and maintain up-to-date various databases
  • Administrative support for payroll, benefits, group insurance, RRSP’s and health claim
  • Assist and advice managers in the recruitment process
  • Identification of recruitment sources, publication of job offer, search of candidates
  • Prepare contracts and inform candidate
  • Facilitate and coordinate the integration of new employees
  • Collaborate in supporting the working hours schedule of the various departments
  • Collaborate in the development and the implementation of the various HR team projects
  • Perform any other task and / or projects assigned by a member of management
  • Qualifications

  • University or college education in business administration and / or human resources
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial and / or unionized manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry would be an asset
  • CPHR / CRHA designation would be an asset
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools : Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
  • Good Knowledge of UKG or other similar payroll system is an asset
  • Any other combination of training and experience in human resources may be considered
