Position Overview North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families, and communities.
NVRC offers a wide range of recreation and cultural programs and services to residents of all ages. We are currently accepting applications for the position of Musical Theatre Instructor to lead programs for school age children.

Plan and conduct Musical Theatre classes involving singing, dancing and acting. Choose well-known music scores, create short scripts and choreograph dance routines.
Work in a creative environment utilizing your people, theatre arts and leadership skills. Become an important part of a student's development, while instilling an interest and love for theatre arts.
Requirements SKILLS REQUIRED :
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Previous experience performing required.
All instructors working with children are expected to hold a current First Aid Certificate and obtain High Five : Principles of Healthy Childhood Development training.
All employees should be prepared to work at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a requirement of the position prior to any appointment.
Clearance requires the absence of any criminal charges or convictions related to this position.
