You as a Supervisor of Security and the Call Centre’ will :

  • Assist the Performance Manager in the successful delivery of the PPP contract.
  • Represent EDFS through participation in various meetings and committees including, but not limited to, Joint Health and Safety, Emergency Measures and various working groups and complete any related tasks including identification of issues, potential resolutions, and JHS reporting.
  • Manage the hiring process and performance in a unionized environment with the goal of reducing employee turnover and retaining persons who exemplify our values.
  • Develop and maintain materials relating to education material, job descriptions, best practice guides, policies and other information tools.
  • Manage departmental budget and ensure spending falls within allocated amounts by applying a fiscally responsible approach.
  • Address client concerns, issues or requests by gathering information from all parties and presenting solutions based on contract requirements and collaboration theories.
  • Gather, review and analyze information and data from computerized systems (and other sources if needed) and present reports based on that information to identify cost savings, process improvement opportunities and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain a professional a professional and positive workplace culture.
  • Hold staff and subcontractors accountable through open discussion of issues, and follow up with coaching, mentoring or disciplinary actions if necessary.
  • Meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Is this the right role for you?

  • You have a college or university diploma / degree in business or law or have equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Contract management experience would be an asset
  • You have working knowledge of various software including MS office, databases
  • You possess strong communication, leadership, customer service and problem solving skills that are applied in a positive and professional approach.
