About this position :

As a consulting firm, Alithya undertakes a wide variety of technically challenging and interesting projects, and so your exact responsibilities will vary depending on the project to which you are assigned.

Our clients are typically from technology departments belonging to large firms, and each project is typically 6 months to 2 years in duration.

In between project assignments, you will work in our Toronto office, assisting with managing our internal new products and solutions.

You will be reporting to the Financial Sector VP and be working with both client and / or Alithya employees to provide project management services and trustworthy consulting work.

We are looking to hire full time and on a permanent basis.

A typical work day :

  • Communicate with client and technical team to understand their services and needs;
  • Structure projects to successfully deliver objectives while respecting resourcing, budget and governance;
  • Manage delivery and implementation of the projects;
  • Produce and deliver high quality presentations with clear messaging and storyline;
  • Identify and resolve project issues, employing strong tactical and critical strategic thinking as well as engaging resources as required;
  • Act as agent of change and,lead people through changes whilst delivering high quality results;
  • Be able to walk into a project with minimum guidelines and define a plan to complete the work;

  • At least 4 years of experience as an Application Project Manager;
  • Experience with Capital Market or Regulatory (ideal);
  • Good communication skills and must be able to manage projects of various sizes;
  • Ability to be results driven and flexible, enjoyment in variety in their work, and the desire to work somewhere where their contributions matter.
