ABOUT the job

We are currently looking for an electrical assembler who will be responsible for installing electrical components (wiring, avionics equipment, etc.) on flight simulators.

Our requirements

  • Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing and installation diagrams and work procedures
  • Perform modification, electrical assembly, alignment and installation of electrical components on sub-assemblies of aeronautical simulators
  • Ability to create multi-wire cabling as well as be able to route it according to installation plans
  • Knowledge on how to install and connect electrical equipment
  • Use crimping tools and tools related to the installation of electrical wiring
  • Know and apply concepts relating to the properties of the materials used
  • Know the precision standards as well as occupational health and safety rules, in particular the WHMIS
  • Eligibility to enrol in the Controlled Goods Program

  • DEC in aeronautical electrical or equivalent
  • Experience in the field
  • Ability to read maps
  • Autonomous and resourceful
