Alteo is looking for a Level 1 IT Technician for a permanent position based in Laval.
Programming of telephone and voice mail systems and other equipment related to telephony.
Provide training to customers on the use of telephony.
Make service calls;
o Programming changes.
o Diagnose problems and find the right solutions.
o Activation of taps and removal of taps.
Customer service support;
o Follow-up on issues that can not be answered by the internal team.
DEC in IT or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in a support role for telephone systems and user support.
Experience in traditional telephony and IP principles.
Experience in Panasonic IP systems (an asset).
Base computer network and IP protocol, GPON (an asset).
Punctual, courteous, and polite.
Ability to solve problems.
Have a marked sense for multitasking.
Neat and professional presentation.
Ability to work alone or in a team.
Understanding the needs of customers, with the desire to make every effort to satisfy them.
Honest, resourceful, and autonomous.
Sense of initiative.
Good analytical and synthesis skills, as well as rigor and a concern for quality and detail.
Valid driver's licence required.
Excellent communication in French and English (oral and written).
