The Senior Process Analyst is responsible for governance and support of the delivery processes. This includes acting as primary liaison for support, providing subject matter expertise and championing continuous improvement of delivery processes and tools.
The Senior Process Analyst also assists and acts as back up of the Reporting Solutions Specialist.
Key Accountabilities and Challenges :
Provide support and guidance to delivery teams and various stakeholders on TMX standard Delivery Methodologies, processes and tools.
Define and ensure the Delivery Oversight Center of Excellence (DOCoE) service levels are met (i.e. timely response to requests and inquiries sent to the group mailbox).
Responsible for supporting and continuously improving processes in collaboration with practice owners and maintaining the related documentation and templates (e.
g. process documentation, end user guides, training materials).
Provide SME and support of Project Portfolio Management (PPM), reporting and time tracking functionality in Workday.
Acts as liaison between auditors, project managers and scrum masters to address questions and requests for information during the annual audit.
Responsible for collecting actuals and forecast spend on in-flight initiatives as part of the annual planning and forecasting process led by Finance.
Identify opportunities for expanding DOCoE services throughout the enterprise (e.g. expanding reporting of Projects to an enterprise view of each Portfolio).
Responsible for periodically reviewing existing delivery processes, get feedback from stakeholders and present recommendations for improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, quality and adoption.
Develop and execute change management and communications plans to implement new and changing processes and tools.
Periodically review initiatives to verify adherence to established processes and identify exceptions for the teams to address.
When required, lead the development of internal processes to support the operations of the DOCoE.
Upon request, train resources on Workday PPM, time tracking and pertinent delivery processes.
Act as a backup to the Lead, DOCoE or the Reporting Solutions Specialist as delegated
Must Have(s) :
University / undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent Analyst experience within a Delivery Center of Excellence in the financial services industry
Minimum 5 years’ experience within an Information Technology environment
Demonstrated ability to balance competing or conflicting goals
Strong influencing, facilitation and negotiation skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills to rapidly assess situations and develop alternate solutions approaches necessary to resolve high-level, complex problems
Ability to work independently on assignments, with tight deadlines under minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of delivery methodologies including SDLC, Iterative, Agile and Hybrid
Strong attention to detail
Experience using a scripting language (e.g. Google scripts)
Experience developing reports and using data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, BIRT
Nice to Have(s) :
CAPM or PMP certification or equivalent
Experience administrating Workday or an equivalent PPM tool
