Co-Op / Intern Application Administrator

Job location : Ottawa, Canada

Term length : 8 or 12 months starting January 2022

About the team

As a member of our Cloud Services team, you will be responsible for delivering Software-as-a-Service to our customers globally.

What you will do

  • Maintain and implement processes and procedures for day-to-day operations activities covering the provisioning, setup, test, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of customer systems for the on-demand RapidResponse Service
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and react to application health issues
  • Take ownership and accountability for the incident resolution process
  • Must adhere to all security and confidentiality requests for this position
  • May perform additional projects upon request
  • What we are looking for

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in computer science or a related discipline
  • Ability to work a 8 or 12 month Co-Op / Intern term
  • Proven strong research and troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of the Windows environments
  • Knowledge of programing languages or scripting languages such as PowerShell would be an asset
  • Knowledge of remote system administration
  • Understanding of systems performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of modern SaaS technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident due to CGRP security requirements
