What you will be doing
This position reports to the Academic Chair and may receive daily functional guidance from the faculty member in the assigned program(s).
The Program Assistant provides assistance to the faculty by overseeing safe work practices, overseeing program inventory control procedures and maintaining practices and procedures within the learning environment.
This program assistant will assist faculty with learning demonstrations, interact with students in the learning environment to help reinforce learning, and in collaboration with faculty, assist with the facilitation of safety meetings with students.
The Program Assistant will also work with little or periodic supervision on a variety of assignments often requiring judgment and decision.
