We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Territory Manager to represent Nestlé Health Science within the GTA West Area Toronto West, Burlington, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Vaughan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Medical Nutrition business within the Community channel specifically, while maintaining profitability levels and meeting territory and regional targets.
The objective is to meet specified sales targets by delivering against customer and patient needs through outcome based patient centric’ recommendations. Major Responsibilities :
Achieve sales targets by promoting Nestlé Health Science products in a professional, effective manner while maintaining awareness of the competitive products and marketplace activities.
Analyze account level sales data and establish insights to highlight trends, opportunities and risks, and develop selling strategies to respond effectively.
Develop territory level business plans that align with the overall regional business plans and commercial strategy.
Effectively execute programs as defined by the business plans and / or the key account / GPO plans.
Develop new sales opportunities by developing deep understanding of customer needs within the channel.
Build key customer relationships that will enable Nestlé Health Science to meet strategic sales growth.
Maintain a customer database to record customer information, call activity, actions, follow-ups and results etc.
Liaise with key customers and influencers in order to keep Nestlé apprised of latest nutrition research, trends and competitive activity, as well as to promote Nestlé as a Leader in Medical Nutrition.
Ensure compliance of Nestlé contracts as it pertains to the full product line, where applicable.
Coordinate involvement in key trade shows and other events.
University degree in business, health science and / or nutrition.
Minimum 2 years successful direct sales experience, preferably within the Healthcare / Nutrition / Pharma Industry.
Registered Dietitian or RN an asset, but not required.
Embraces continuous learning, and adapts well to business and market changes
Thorough knowledge of health care segments (home care, outpatient care and acute care)
Ability to analyze sales reports and data to develop business strategies and plans to maximize sales
Ability to identify opportunities, develop and nurture key business relationships, and plan / prioritize effectively.
Self- motivated, results oriented with proven selling skills.
Demonstrated creativity and entrepreneurial talent
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Team player who collaborates effectively across all teams within the business
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Polished and professional manner
Computer literacy and expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Valid full driver’s license is required. The candidate should ideally be based in the designated territory and is open to frequent travel in the surrounding areas.
