As the Senior Partnership and Social Impact Advisor you will establish and lead strategic and innovative approaches to help shift our business ecosystems and generate social impact through key partnerships.

You will drive engagement of our stakeholders, spark innovation and empower staff to embed sustainability principles into their decision making, actions and processes.

What you’re responsible for :

Identifying opportunities to drive shared value through business and citizenship practices and engaging with community partners to develop and enhance solutions.

Detecting emerging unmet needs in communities and seeking innovative ideas and practices to positively impact The Co-operators in pursuit of strategic objectives and developing subsequent action plans.

Collaborating with business partners and various stakeholders to create innovative and strategic solutions that reflect our unique culture and building programs to effectively engage employees with partner organizations.

Leading the execution and delivery of operational programs and committees with partners, including analysis and interpretation of success metrics and development and measurement of key performance indicators to assess environmental and social impacts.

Designing new, creative approaches for communicating and sharing stories of the organization’s impacts to build The Co-operators profile and brand, as a leader in sustainability and community involvement.

You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.

You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.

You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.

To join our team :

You have 5-7 years of experience in collaboration, partnership development, and relationship management, including the social dimensions of sustainability.

You have a post-secondary degree in Business, Sustainability, Finance, Economics, Co-operative Studies, or related discipline.

You have an advanced understanding of social enterprise landscape in Canada and strong knowledge of sustainability, social issues and social change.
