What is the Job?

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently sourcing and selling parts to customers either over the phone, in person or online.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Quote and sell truck, bus, trailer, forklift & all makes parts to our valued customers
  • Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers while making a sale, quoting, taking orders and / or checking availability
  • Meet or exceed monthly parts sales expectations
  • Deal with customer issues in a timely manner
  • Provide quotes on parts to be used by the shop and sales department
  • Assist other areas of the parts department as needed or assigned
  • Perform inventory count annually or as required.
  • Participate in any technical training or development training that is made available
  • Performs the role in a professional manner that aligns with the Company’s’ values and ideals

  • What You Need :

  • Product knowledge and previous selling experience of either all makes, auto or heavy truck parts
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Sales driven
  • Organized & self-motivated
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts
