Role Impact :

The Program Analyst, Life Safety Systems is responsible for the collection, coordination, analysis, and reporting of performance of health & safety compliance measures, and also manages, organizes and maintains all related data systems.

The position is responsible for monitoring and reporting data analyses within the department, and also nationally, on compliance with policies and procedures.

Finally, the position supports the development of internal training for Operations, Security and Life Safety personnel at Cadillac Fairview.

What you will deliver :

  • Responsible for the collection, development, production, evaluation and reporting of life safety performance metrics, in consultation with the Directors of Operations and Security, and under the direction of the Director of Occupational and Life Safety
  • Conducting data analysis to track critical paths of property performance to identify trends and potential risks, which are subsequently used by the respective security and safety directors for coaching and undertaking corrective actions
  • Administer, evaluate and enhance the Maximo analytics platform
  • Collection of performance measures, reviewing and evaluating gaps in performance, and completing the quarterly compliance report to the Board of Directors
  • Liaison in coordination with National Operations for the evaluation and reporting of life safety performance measures to various decision-making bodies such as the Operations Leadership Team (OLT), Operations Executive Team (Op Ex) and the corporate Executive Committee, where necessary
  • Manage the program / project documentation process, assist in the planning, organization and administration of corporate-initiated projects that have an impact on our properties;
  • provide training and ongoing support to property teams

  • Support the implementation of standardized program / project management processes for corporate initiatives
  • Work with internal stakeholders to record business planning of projects
  • Gather ongoing feedback from portfolio and property teams on scheduling for planning implementation based on resource capacity and blackout dates
  • Compile, standardize and prepare all communications on project initiatives and distribute to portfolio, and property teams
  • Assist in preparing project deliverables / presentations / specialized reports to provide status updates on national programs, initiatives and results of projects
  • Your strengths :

  • Sound knowledge of the Maximo platform or similar preventative maintenance program
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety codes an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organizational, priority and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team-player with a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to multitask with tight and dynamic deadlines
  • Ability to interact at all organizational levels

  • What you need to succeed :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a relevant field
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant program management experience with experience administering a preventative maintenance system
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a Data analytics role
  • High computer literacy working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in database development and management (i.e., MS Excel and / or Access)
  • Must have demonstrated project management, analytical, organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
