Our competitive advantage is, and always will be, our people.Position Summary : Reporting to the R&D Project Manager, the Software Project Coordinator & Grant Writer is responsible for.

  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Assist with applications and ongoing reporting for government grant programs such as IRAP and SR&EDPrepare concise and clear project status reportsLead sprint meetings, including prioritization, estimation, demo, and retrospective meetingsManage Jira tickets within sprint to ensure they have estimates and sufficient requirements, to allocate work appropriately across the team, and to unblock any blocked ticketsTrack and analyze sprint metrics to calculate team capacity, monitor developer performance, and identify bottlenecks in our processesServe as the R&D team’s liaison to the customer support team, resolving or escalating inbound customer support requestsAssist with R&D team operations, including managing the team’s calendar, tracking the team’s expenses, and assisting with new hire onboardingAssist the R&D Project Manager on special projects, including coordinating with Marketing, Support, and other teams on new product and feature launchesWork with the R&D Project Manager to continuously propose and implement improvements to the team’s processesKey / Technical Skills : Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent technical writing and grant writing skillsStrong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel / Google SheetsStrong collaboration and leadership skills, including the ability to resolve conflicts and bring team members to a mutually acceptable decisionThe ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environmentA self-starter mentality and the desire to contribute significantly to a fast-growing teamEducation and Experience : Bachelor’s degree or combination of desired education, training, and experience3-5 years coordinating or managing projects in the tech sectorExperience working with Canadian government grant programs, specifically IRAP and SR&ED, and / or other relevant grant programsExperience working with an agile software development teamExperience working with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar toolsIt’s a bonus if you have CSM, CAPM, and / or PMP certificationWorking at TruliooA great place to work!
