Responsibilities :

  • Manage and track all inbound and outbound shipments / packages for the company.
  • Communicate to employees in correct department of shipments received and the safe keeping of these packages until pick up or delivery.
  • Work with business leaders to maintain product storage areas in first class condition, ensuring efficiencies are established wherever possible, while ensuring proper health and safety practices are always followed.
  • Ensure that all shipping / receiving areas, including, but not limited to the receiving area, front entrance on the first floor, reception area on the second floor, and storage areas on each floor are maintained according to established safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Sweep warehouse daily or weekly as needed.

  • Support subtenant with shipments and deliveries as required.
  • Coordinate with departments and logistics to facilitate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper paperwork and records are maintained to track shipments appropriately.
  • Schedule and oversee pick-ups with carriers as required.
  • Manage levels of shipping supplies, boxes, tape, UPS, DHL, etc. and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained on an ongoing basis.
  • Work closely with Sample Coordinator to ensure samples are dealt with in an organized and timely fashion.
  • Execute all assigned Facilities Request Form tasks (Facilities ticketing system) in a timely manner.
  • Work with businesses leaders and Samples Coordinator in the preparation, set-up, maintenance, and take-down of Sample Sales.
  • Work with Facilities Team to establish and implement building operations procedures, identify efficiencies, and implement and communicate such improvements.
  • Work with The Store, landlord and other building stakeholders to manage garbage room and waste management plan. Schedule compactor service, bin drop-offs, and waste pickups when needed.
  • Oversee Organics Program for the building including but not limited to, scheduling pickups, e-mail correspondence, and recommendations.
  • Schedule metal recycling for the building and support Facilities Manager by obtaining certificate of destruction.
  • Schedule donations on behalf of Customer as needed (i.e., Habitat for Humanity, Global Take Back Program).
  • Organize RA’s, items for destruction and miss-shipped / misdirected items, following through to resolution / completion
  • Coordinate with vendors for Shipping / Receiving related functions
  • Act as support for Building Maintenance Coordinator; perform emergency light janitorial and repair functions as required.
  • Observe all Health & Safety Policies and Procedures as they are presented and take part in all Health and Safety training.
  • Use and / or wear all the protective devices, equipment or clothing as instructed by Customer in order to perform the job safely.
  • Other duties as agreed upon between Ricoh and Customer
