This position will support our national account-based marketing program for Deloitte. Working with the the firm’s account-

based marketing lead, and key stakeholders within the business, you will be responsible for strategic program support, marketing campaign development, and implementation of the firm’s related go-

to-market strategy for our priority accounts.

The candidate is self-motivated, energetic, driven for success and results oriented. You will support and execute strategies for elevating Deloitte’s presence and strengthening the firm’s brand and revenue opportunity generation.

Additionally, you will work closely with the local marketing representatives across the country, lead Services marketers, as well as global counterparts to ensure plans align and are executed with a view to achieving both individual account’s and the firm’s overall business growth objectives.

Responsibilities may include :

  • Develop, implement and monitor unique account marketing programs for major strategic clients
  • Support the tracking, monitoring and evaluation of marketing activities and accomplishments with lead generation, relationship and brand building as end objectives
  • Build strong relationships with key business and marketing stakeholders to ensure business alignment
  • Contribute innovative marketing ideas and solutions that support long-term growth of the firm, and that align to unique priorities of account teams
  • Help maintain marketing budget and utilize sound marketing methods to ensure programs are implemented cost-effectively and implemented to achieve desired goals for building revenue, relationships and reputation
  • Liaise with counterparts from other Deloitte member firms (including the UK, Australia, and U.S.) and with Global to identify areas of collaboration and to share best practices
  • External Posting Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of marketing / communications, and / or business development partnering experience, with a focus on strategy, planning and implementing integrated marketing communications campaign programs designed to drive lead generation and build relationships
  • Prior sales or sales enablement experience is an asset
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business
  • Experience in supporting and developing marketing and communications strategies that are aligned to business strategy and sales
  • Experience and understanding of client-centric marketing
  • Experience with developing the following marketing communications tactics :
  • Conference / bespoke event / tradeshow management (world class marketing events)
  • Thoughtware / sales collateral / content production
  • Direct mail / contact programs
  • Media relations
  • Digital marketing (email, web and paid social); and
  • Internal communications
  • Experience working and presenting to senior leaders and leadership teams
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work closely with business development and account management professionals
  • A commitment to flexible work hours and some travel
  • An understanding of market segmentation and customer relationship management / databases is required
  • Ability to work and manage external suppliers is key
  • Proven abilities with demand generation, lead tracking, and ROI
  • Industry background in professional services is a definite asset
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Self-starter, independent and proactive
  • Ability to develop, share and adopt innovative approaches and best practices,
  • Strong project management skills. Must be detail oriented, organized and able to juggle multiple tasks and timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, with ability to develop contacts
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English required, French would be an asset but not required)
